Yes, Blair had begrudgingly joined in on the hype; Pokèmon GO. She had quickly grown addicted and she had in the matter of few days, gone up quite a few levels. Her Pokèmon's CP level was in the two hundreds and she spent many of her free moments watching her phone and nearly getting run over.
In hindsight, she realized she didn't have to watch her phone all the time, considering how it vibrated whenever there was a Pokèmon around, but ah well.
She was currently tracking a Pikachu somewhere down and around the next corner - at least, she thought she did. The tracking system was somewhat buggy, but it worked every now and then and since she had little else to do, she saw no issues at the very least trying.
Well, it was all good and fun until she found herself walking straight into something. She could feel her face crash into their back and her phone dropped against the ground. Swaying slightly, Blair took an unsteady step backwards, her arms flailing and a dazzled look swaying across her features.
Hot and sunny. A short phrase but a perfect description. Ethan wouldn't have been surprised if he could cook food on the road. But he was used to the heat. Mostly. It was tolerable out in the open. But in the shop? Even with the fans going it felt particularly steamy. So he'd taken the chance for his break to go somewhere else to eat.
But as he was walking, someone ran into him. There was a dull noise as something dropped while he turned. It was a girl. Unsteady on her feet. Ethan reached an arm out and lightly grabbed on of her wrists to steady her. Then he got to actually see her. A smirk grew on his face. "Well, well, getting a little clumsy there Blair?" The tone was teasing. He glanced down to see what dropped only to spot...Pokemon. His eyes flicked up to hers. A brow arched in question, while amusement flooded his expression.

Blair's natural instinct was to pull her hand away, but she also realized how insanely rude that would be. The guy clearly only wanted to help her - and with that, the brunette used the man's weight to steady herself, her brown eyes lifting and then growing wider. "That's only because people are constantly standing in my way," she countered with a sheepish smile. Her eyes quickly followed his to the ground, her cheeks turning crimson and she swept down to collect her phone.
Staring at it as she brushed the invisible dust off of the screen, Blair pursed her lips. "I heard it was supposed to be good for working out," she offered awkwardly. "It's actually kind of fun," she continued, her voice growing meeker.
That was only because people were constantly standing in her way. The response earned a grin in return. He dropped her wrist. She'd nearly jerked them out of his grasp initially. Understandably. Then her gaze followed his to the dropped phone and she blushed. Really, Ethan saw no reason for her to be embarassed. Yet it was entertaining to watch her cheeks grow red.
She heard it was supposed to be good for working out. It was actually kind of fun. Yet as she spoke her voice grew meeker. Was she really that embarassed by it? Or was it simply the fact he had found out? Whichever it was, Ethan offered her an easy smile. He wasn't judging her. "It must be, from the amount of people doing it." It came with a shrug. "And at least it's getting more people to actually go outside and exercise. That's always good." Although she didn't seem to need it quite so much.

Nodding eagerly, Blair brushed off her phone, closed the app and put the phone back into her pocket, ignoring the slight vibration, indicating that there was a Pokémon around. "Yeah," she replied. "Especially the people who usually spend most of their time inside playing games and getting no exercise." She liked the app, but she didn't think it would hold her interest very long. Few things seemed to, anyways.
"But enough about that," she announced, clapping her hands together before putting them on top of Ethan's shoulders. "I haven't seen you in suuuuch a long time-" In fact, she couldn't even remember if it had been days or months; her schedule really did a number with her head. "How are you?"
She nodded eagerly and put her phone away. There was a slight vibration, but she ignored it. It especially helped the people who usually spent most of their time inside playing games and not getting any exercise. Which made sense in a way. It was bringing people together too. "Very true. And it might actually be making those people social." He'd seen the groups. While he didn't play, he could at least see the good it was doing. So far.
But enough about that. She clapped her hands together and put them on his shoulders. She hadn't seen him in such a long time. Something Ethan could agree on. He hadn't seen her for at least a month if he remembered correctly. How was he? "Fairly well, actually." Nothing bad had happened in his recent memory. "I've just been working a lot, but you know how that is." Considering what she, it was hardly a surprise they hadn't seen each other. "What about you?" The question came with a playful poke to her stomach. "What have you been up to?"

In truth, considering how much Blair usually spent her life slacking off, she couldn't wrap her mind around the idea of being busy with work. Sure, there were times she spent day out and day in modeling, but never as much as regular people. She supposed she was blessed and a little bit spoiled that way. The poke to her stomach had the brunette squealing, her arms flailing gently in the air.
"I've been good," she replied cheekily, "Well," she continued, her cheeks fluffing childishly. "Same old, really." She realized then how dull her life was. She needed to spice it up somehow. "I've found myself in a boring phase with little to put my mind on," she added with a pout as her arm went around Ethan's, playfully tugging at it. "You know, you should come have some fun with me!"
The poke earned a squeal and a flail from her, and he had to chuckle. It was slightly cute. Meanwhile, she had been good. Well same old really; she'd found herself in a boring phase with little to put her mind on. The response came with a pout. Then she hooked her arm around Ethan's, playing fully tugging it. He should go have some fun with her.
A laugh left him. He couldn't help but be amused. She always seemed to brighten his mood. It was something about her personality. Something he couldn't really pin down, nor had the desire to do so. He used the arm she held to tug her playfully in return. "I wouldn't mind having some fun. What did you have in mind though?"

A victorious smile spread over the brunette's lips; perhaps it was silly of her, but she'd always loved the attention people so willingly offered her. Of course, she would never easily admit to how much it scared her that someday, people would wake up and ignore her. Or worse, grow bored of her.
"Well," she drawled, her brows furrowing slightly. "I'd say it's a tad too early yet to get drunk..." She considered then, but quickly tossed the notion away. After all, she'd already been in trouble for daydrinking and she didn't need any more bad publicity right now. At least, not that kind of publicity.
"Let's go skinny dipping!" Blair tugged at the arm once more, almost goating the man standing next to her as she offered him something of a playful smirk. She was joking, though, she would be lying if she said she wasn't hoping he'd say yes.
