Her home wasn't know for stability. On the surface it might've seemed that way. Like the water of a pond. Serene. Flat. Yet underneath lurked the dirt and decay. Such was Jean's life. Her parents appeared to love each other. Appeared to be happy. Appeared to be perfect. But Jean knew better.Neither was perfect. Neither without sin. She kept her silence only so she wouldn't have to deal with the noise. Went about her life as if nothing was wrong. As if neither parent concerned her. But it came to blows eventually. First one found out. Then the other. Two affairs. Both cheating. It had only been a matter of time before they split. Jean went with her mother. It wasn't as if she cared either way.
