PERSONALITY: Quite simply Jack is Jack. He's Arrogant, brash, vain, proud, conceited, Egotistic and at times just a plain asshole, not that he means to. Jack leaves in his own little world, where minor issues are world destroying calamities Jack is a class A attention seeker needing to show off at every possible opportunity which usually involves childishly habit of verbally abusing everyone around him - even people that he cares for. Jack is infamous for mouth and the fact that he never seems to shut up…ever! The topics he likes to discuss usually can switch instantaneously from charming to outright sleaze.
Jack is outspoken, rude, mischievous and morally flexible, self-absorbed, selfish, impulsive and incapable of taking anything short of a direct attempt on his life seriously.
However once you get past the egotistical exterior at his core Jack is a genuinely likeable person. His abrasive attitude is really a device he uses disguise his real feelings as a way to dance around his own insecurities. Jack is very cheerful, charismatic and enthusiastic, often at inappropriate times, even when in trouble He is resourceful and quick thinking and has the ability to spin things to his point of view and find positive outlooks in negative situations.
Jack is quite childlike and playful and can be quite charming when he wants to be.

Jack was born into troubling circumstances. His father was a well respected and brilliant financial expert that had a weakness for women. This weakness would come back to haunt him when one sunny afternoon a young women he had met in a local bar shown up on the door step of his penthouse -pregnant.
Now, this being Ireland in the early 90’s they didn’t have a lot of choices other then to wed and only a few months later Jack was born.
Unsurprisingly Darren and Loraine, had a rocky relationship from the beginning, due to their forced relationship, not to mention Darren’s continuing adultery. In a desperate attempt to save their marriage, they moved from Ireland to Hollywood, but it was too little to late. After one argument too many, Loraine packed her bags and left. Jack never saw her again.
It was hard for any kid moving to a new country to fit in especially when the kid in question was as shy as Jack, and for years he was teased relentlessly. Combined with his resentment of his often absent father, Jack began to act out. He began to develop a cocky attitude and began to insult in order to prevent his own words from being thrown back in this face. Wit became Jack’s go to response to everything. Smoking, partying, and drinking became Jack’s lifestyle of choice.
Unfortunately this new attitude only fractured the relationship with his father further. A few months after the divorce was finalized, Darren began seeing Kristen a devout Christian (Or as Jack lovingly refers to her: The fat B***h) With Kristen at his side Darren developed a new lease on life and gave up the partying lifestyle once and for all, much to bemusement of Jack.♦ THE PLAYER ♦
