Her parents were out, so Gwen had agreed to look after Jared. With a little coaxing from her mother, she plucked up to courage to take her younger brother to the cafe for ice cream. She held tightly onto the 2 year old, worried that he would run off. Her plan apparently wasn't such a good idea when the toddler decided to start screaming his lungs out. Gwen turned a little grey, panicking about attention that may come to her. Silently she tried to sooth him, stroking his hair before she finally managed to utter out a few words. Jared, please be quiet Finally she was forced to move out of the line to a corner of the store, where she tried to calm him a little more.

Vida had never really been opposed to eating at a local diner or cafe. She kind of enjoyed the more simple things in life now that "simple" and "minimal" were kind of tossed out the window. It came with being a model, and it came with being a known actress. Her work buddies and new friends often wanted to go to more expensive places, where paparazzi was sure to lure their ugly little heads just because it was a well known spot. And that was fine, but Vi didn't need or want that kind of attention right now.
Right now she just kind of wanted a cup of coffee and possibly a cream cheese bagel smothered in cream cheese. When she entered, she could hear a child crying or screaming. A great reminder as to why she'd rather not have kids, but hey - to each it's own. Instead of waiting for a waitress, Vida walked up to one with an order but also a request. Only to head over to the screaming child and redhead trying to calm him down afterwards. She stood next to the two and revealed a cold juice box. "I hope you don't mind," She smiled at him, before her hazel eyes fell upon the red head.
Vida couldn't help but to notice how pretty she was, really attractive. Probably married to some sort of money maker way older than her, and left alone with their child. Taken girls were always a shame. The usual story in Cali. Her eyes then went back to the little boy, "But I thought I saw a cutie over here and I thought you'd might like this."
