MISC: Felix is pretty casual with the way he dresses, generally wearing t shirts with loose open skirts and jeans. Despite his wealth, he usually chooses clothing based on how much he likes the item regardless of it's label. His watch however is an expensive item wears near enough constantly, but this was a 18th gift from his parents and holds sentimental value.
PERSONALITY: Fun, upbeat and lighthearted, Felix generally doesn’t take life too seriously and sees little value in wallowing in any form of self pity. Although he claims to be an open book, he chooses to hide certain information from others if he feels it’s in their benefit to do so, weather this is information about himself or other people.
Felix takes life in his stride, giving off a bright and fun loving atmosphere. He bonds exceedingly well with others, and much prefers spending time in the public eye. While he does enjoy the spotlight, it isn’t something he goes out to purposefully look for. He’s fairly social, but only chooses to spend an extensive amount of time with close friends, preferring to relax with one person that means a lot to him as apposed to being in a large social gathering.
Having grown up fairly well off, Felix hasn’t had to cope with going without; this is however something that he doesn’t like to play on. He’s the most down to earth of his siblings and will often avoid giving his last name to strangers.
When it comes to personal relationships, Felix is generally welcoming and friendly to all who come across him; at least at first. While he can take an extensive amount of personal knockbacks, and easily dismisses anyone being aggressive towards him, he won’t see it being done to someone else. He cares for others extensively, easily allowing himself to be hurt and to worry about those he cares for. He has a habit of taking on their personal battles as his own too, choosing to stay by their side even if the outcome will harm himself. He’s emotionally strong, making it relatively easy for him to deal with a lot of issues from others at once. He often feels that others don’t take his feelings into consideration, due to his general care free attitude. He holds a great consideration for others, often going above and beyond for someone in order to make them feel better or to solve a problem for them.
Despite his readiness to take on any of his friends’ problems, Felix is sensitive about his own. His easy going personality hides his insecurities, his worries and his fears. The feelings of others and their wellbeing is generally viewed as more important then his own. He sees himself as a necessary pillar of resolve, since so many around him due to the current political state are unstable; this leaves him often feeling emotionally drained, but he often refuses to show this or inform anyone else if he’s struggling.
SECRET(S): None of importance.♦ THE HISTORY ♦Felix was born as the first child to Andrew Nicholas, CEO of Nicholas Hotels, and his wife Valentina Nicholas. He was born into a very wealthy family, with the Nicholas brand world renowned for it's high level of quality and elegance. The family resided in a large home in Beverly Hills, although the family held private apartments in almost every Nicholas Hotel and moved often from one to the other throughout California when the business called for it.
Although Felix was born into luxury, that didn't mean his childhood was a happy one. Although loved by his parents, it became obvious very quickly even at a young age that his Father was eager to mould the boy into taking over the company. He was kept relatively secluded, only really getting to play with others from wealthy families in the area, leaving him lonely and isolated.
When Felix was three, his younger siblings were born, twins Priscilla and Travis. Felix took to being an older brother with vigour, adoring spending time caring for and playing with the youngest Nicholas children.
Shortly after their birth, Felix's Father moved the hub of the business to Glenhaven, dragging the family along with him. With the opening of the latest hotel to the empire, The Glenhaven Nicholas, the family moved into the penthouse so Andrew could better coordinate and expand upon the company from it's latest edition.
Felix's education was spent in a private school, although Felix didn't partically enjoy being kept within it's strict walls. When given the chance to skip classes one day, the young Nicholas did, and it was then that he met a young girl whom would have a heavy impact on his life; Erika Clarke Davis became his best friend, and for years the two were near inseparable.
When his grades began to drop due to Felix's missing classes, at 17 his Father pulled him out of the school and instead forced Felix into home tuition. This meant less and less time to spend with friends, although it did result in Felix passing his high school education with high grades.
Ignoring what he truly wanted and following his Father's request, Felix moved away to New York to study a degree in business, although his heart was far from in it. His Father came from a family where the sons followed in the footsteps of their parents, and this is a heavy factor he'd placed upon the boy from the day he was born. As he began to struggle, from the constant pressure of his parents and having to deal with the social demands of New York's elite, Felix had enough, and dropped out of the prestigious University. The wild parties and scandalous, usually drug fuelled all nighters many of the younger offspring of wealth seemed to favour in the big city had never been Felix's thing.
Instead Felix returned to Glenhaven, living in an apartment by the beach and attending a local community college, studying music therapy, much to his Father's disapproval; But at least he's far happier. Recently he's gotten a position as a local radio host, a position he suspects he got mostly due to his name. Felix isn't complaining however.♦ THE PLAYER ♦
